Keil painted with some of the greats including Joan Miro, Pablo Picasso and Andy Warhol, to name a few. This is a beautiful piece titled “Andy Warhol and Wannsee” that depicts his good friend and fellow artist, Andy. It is executed with acrylic on canvas and signed and dated “P. Keil, ‘97” in the lower right corner. It is also titled and signed with the location of “Berlin” on the verso. This piece was purchased directly from the Keil family, acting on behalf of Peter.
