A stunning set of 18 authentic, handcrafted Japanese porcelain teacups (yunomi) from the Edo period.
Dimensions of each cup: height 6.5 cm, diameter 8.5 cm.
Dimensions of the wooden storage box: 20.5 cm x 21 cm x 21 cm.
Each cup is hand-painted in traditional blue, featuring a decorative landscape of houses, trees, and mountains. The interior of the cups also boasts an elegant blue design, with a classic geometric pattern along the rim.
Due to the handmade process, the cups are not perfectly uniform in shape, and the edges are irregular. This is not a flaw but rather a hallmark of traditional Japanese craftsmanship: the cups were fired in the kiln this way and are fully glazed.
This set is not only functional for enjoying tea or coffee but also serves as a decorative and rare collectible item.
