The artist likes to explore the contrast between the robustness of metal and the delicacy of paper, infusing each piece she creates with a story through its shape, colors and cut-outs. She depicts scenes imbued with poetry, where trees reveal themselves in all their splendor. Nayla Tabet was born in Lebanon in 1980. At the age of eight, her family found refuge in France, where she grew up in a small southern town surrounded by forests and woods, a setting that nurtured her fascination for trees from an early age. The sculptures are protected by a acrylic glass cube and signed. See less
