Gispen office chair model 2712, designed by André Cordemeyer for Gispen in the 1970s, combines comfort with a sleek and functional design. The chair belongs to the BZ (Beter Zitten / Better Sitting) series and features armrests for extra support. The shell is made of fiberglass reinforced polyester, and the base of painted sheet steel. Unlike some other models in this series, this office chair has mechanical height adjustment via a lever, rather than a gas spring. The base is equipped with casters, ensuring smooth mobility. with a height of 83 cm, a width of 61 cm and a depth of 61 cm, this chair offers a comfortable seat, with the seat height adjustable from 38 to 51 cm. The dark red skai upholstery is still in good condition, with no tears or holes, and shows only slight signs of use appropriate to its age (see photos).
