A super large Multan ware lamp base with iskamic calligraphy (بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم) (bismi-llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm) blue and turquoise Iznik decoration on an off-white ground. Multan wares are known for their bright Iznik influenced decoration, since many Iznik potters moved to the area, taking their ceramic traditions with them.
Our ginger jar shaped lamp base is hand-painted with traditional islamic design. A lovely feature lamp for a table or desk, we recommend a 40-45cm diameter shade for use with this lamp. Lamp Base without Shade.
