This pretty handwoven, open-weave basket has two handles and sits atop four small wooden wheels. It boasts a rich, warm patina and likely dates to the late 20th century (or possibly mid-20th century).

This basket is in very good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear, including a slightly sagging base from use and some breaks in wicker around one of the handles (see last photo). Having worked hard all its life, this basket seeks a home where it can enjoy a quiet retirement. With this in mind, suggest using it as a stationary piece or pushing the basket by its rim when moving to another location to avoid stress to handles. Also recommend lighter laundry or storage loads to protect the base. See less
