It is rare to see so much of the yew wood which typically grows high in the mountain and because of the winds it never grows straight up and has a ''vawy and curly'' character .
The case rests on French bracket feet. The double doors are mounted with cast brass peacock escutcheon hardware, cast brass barrel hinges and a working double lock with the key. There are two shelves with large interior drawer. The surfaced has been waxed and polished . The armoire is in very good condition and has a nice patina typical for 18-century furniture. See less
