Peter Keil is a German artist that focuses primarily on abstract expressionism. Keil painted with some of the greats including Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso and Andy Warhol, to name a few. This piece is titled “Omage To My Friend Miró” and is a gorgeous piece! Joan Miró and Peter Keil were great friends, so this piece is very neat to own! It was executed with acrylic on masonite board. A Certificate of Authenticity from the artist is adhered to the verso. It is signed in the lower right and left corners and dated “Palma ‘75”. The art has a minor chip at the top. The frame has minor flaws as pictured.
