It was bought in the 1980’s at the Fiere di Parma in Paris and brought over by a private collector. We are so lucky to have had the chance to get this wonderful piece! The scene features what looks like Julius Cesar and a scholar along with some Roman soldiers but I could be wrong. All I know is it is absolutely beautiful and at a grand 12 feet wide it will be nice over a grand fireplace or fill a nice long area on the wall. See less
