Four armchairs from the Tropicalia series designed by Patricia Urquiola for Moroso.

The armchair has a tubular steel structure that acts as a frame for a weave of technopolymer threads.

This version which sees the contrast of green and red colors is called JUGLE.

The Tropicalia series was designed and produced in 2008, and is still in production today with different color variations.

Colorful and with a lively style, these armchairs are ideal for both indoors and outdoors.

Our four armchairs are the first series and are in excellent state of conservation and structure. 

Three have no defects, one has a small break in a thread, which does not affect the structure and which can be fixed upon request if desired.

Patricia Urquiola is a Spanish designer who finished her architecture studies at the Polytechnic of Milan, graduating in 1989 with Achille Castiglioni.

He worked alongside Vico Magistretti until he opened his own studio in 2001.
