I love the versatility of … Read more Here is a fantastic mid 20th century piece featuring a tray top and folding base. I love the versatility of these pieces! As you can see the tray is easily lifted from the bottom. You can use it with all the sides up or you can fold one or more sides down! There are brass campaign style hinges on all sides. It also has a very subtle inlay cross design on the top, which you can see best in the last photo. The base has a lovely shape with curved legs and two luggage strap details on the top. It's perfect as a butler's tray, a dry bar, side table or you can split the pieces up and use them separately. They fold nicely for storage. Wood appears to be mahogany.
