A large and delightful floral oil on canvas of Zinnias still life by American listed artist Gaydell Baines. Painted circa 1950, it is a stunning example of her realistic paintings and the colours are just beautiful. It is very vibrant and in gallery condition.
Framed, in good condition.
Zinnias still life by Gaydell Baines (American, 1910-2000). Gaydell was a member and past president of the Conservative Art Association of Houston, Texas. She is a prominent artist who had won many awards for her work in oils. Gaydell worked predominately painting still lifes, especially floral still lifes. Presented in a decorative edging frame. Signed "Gaydell Baines" bottom right.
