Askepot pendant lamp designed by Jo Hammerborg and manufactured by Fog and Morup, Denmark in the late 1970s.
The design is a wonderful example of juxtapositions. If it's in the textural graphite grey shade resembling cast iron and its surprising smooth silver interior or to its the high gloss flaming red painted bulb housing. There are contrasts all over this lamp.
Askepot translates into English as Cinderella.
