"For half of the year, I watch snow descend over the mountains as storms roll in and out. The trees are stripped bare, but they don't stop giving off color. The orange of this one struck me one day, along with its place alone in a field. It came together in my studio when I looked at a frame I've had for at least three years that hasn't ever found the right painting. It was waiting for this tree.
The artisan frame is handmade by Bryan and Allyson Smith. It comes ready to hang."
