The figure of Jesus, rendered with the gray color of death, is lying helpless in the arms of Mary who turns her gaze to heaven.
A soft drapery in blue and red envelops the Madonna.
There are many affinities found with the works of Luca Cambiaso (1527 - 1585) to whose circle we indicate the author of the work.
Work relined and reframed with an adapted antique frame.
