The top is laminated strips of 1" thick solid wood, maple I believe. The legs are 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" thick. This table was used in the Baltimore public school system in the late 1950's or early 1960's on. The wood has a beautiful patina, and clean, simple details very much in the tradition of the Shaker style. See less

There are some miner imperfections in the finish, and some very miner dings and very miner scratches that are not very noticeable. The apron on one side has a small crack in it that was glued and filled and is structurally sound and sturdy. less
