His late mother was a noted painter as his sister currently is, and he has a son who is a glassblower. He is notable in that in addition to being an artist, he had a career as a pathologist -- and the title and theme of this painting reflect that it was inspired by his years looking at medical slides. Colllins' work has not been available outside of New Orleans, so we are pleased to present it to our Chairish audience. You can see a number of his paintings in our current inventory. They show the influence of his mother’s mid-century style. This painting measures 30" x 22", on a high-profile canvas which can be either hung as-is or framed in a readily-available frame as the size is a common standard. Proudly presented by Guy Lyman Fine Art, New Orleans. See less
