The Cherry wood top has a stunning natural grain pattern as do the sides & the front profited frame. The side panels feature a 1.75" raised profile around each perimeter as an added design element. The base also has a 3 dimensional profiled apron on the front of the cabinet as well as on side with raised wood feet at each corner and the raised wood feet are fitted with hidden metal levelers. All exposed wood is in Baker's proprietary are in Lux finish with a gloss sheen. The top has a profiled edge reflecting clean lines on this transitional piece. Other features include (2) interior top drawers which are felt lined (one with silverware holders - both of which are removable if not needed. The top 2 interior drawers are situated above an interior open storage space. The interior open storage space feather (2) adjustable shelves for maximum storage height flexibility. The interior of the cabinet is hidden behind (2) striae-textured (in Gesso) "push latch release" doors in hand-applied White Gold as an inset and surrounded by a Cherry wood frame. While the back is also stained in the Lux finish, it is not in finished Cherry wood as the piece is designed for placement against a wall. The design of this piece makes it an ideal candidate for a formal dining room, foyer, MBR or living room. The piece is in new, pristine condition (albeit no longer made by Baker) with no imperfections and has had no previous owner. See less
