A really nice designer lamp that stands out a little extra with its irregular pattern. The surface is beautifully glazed and brings life to the pattern.
The included lampshade blends in nicely and lets the lamp base speak for itself.
Carl-Harry Stålhane (1920-1990) is well-known as the artistic leader for Rörstrand in the 1960s.
Stålhane began his career as a faience painter at Rörstrand's Porcelain Factory in 1939 and later became one of Sweden's most famous ceramicists.
Stålhane is represented at the Swedish National Museum of Art and Design.
In the 1950s, he became artistic director at Rörstrand and created many iconic works.
He exhibited his works internationally and received several awards, including a gold medal at the Milan Triennale in 1948.
Rörstrand is a traditional porcelain and ceramics company with a long history. Since 1726, they have been creating memorable moments through their beautiful products. Their range is inspired by Swedish design history and quality.
Rörstrand has had the honour of being purveyor to the Royal Court of Sweden. This is a sign of their high quality and tradition. The height of 37.5 cm is up to the lamp socket. The shade holder is adjustable. This piece has an attribution mark,
