The chest … Read more Bay Colony Antiques is proud to offer for sale this fantastic 19th century antique Hepplewhite cherry tall chest. The chest has 6 drawers constructed with hand cut dovetails and chamfered bottoms with high polish embossed brass pulls. All the drawers actuate with ease and are nice and clean free of any odors. The chest is in great condition with our only notes being the escutcheon covers were removed, there’s a small square patch on the lower right hand corner of the fourth drawer, and there is a small piece of molding missing on the top right hand corner of the fifth drawer that we’ll have our restorer replace. The chest has a finely formed crown & an assertive presence on tall French feet. We are always in the market for quality antique case furniture, especially tall chests, and are sure this will excite our Hepplewhite collectors and decorators around the US. The chest measures 42 1/4” wide x 20” deep x 53” tall. See less
