This nice original antique sedan chair is most likely Dutch colonial and is in good original condition. The red velvet upholstery is probably not original, but it fits well with the whole. Apart from some normal signs of age, the upholstery is in correct condition. These types of carriages, believe it or not, were mainly used to transport the homeowner from one side of the house to the other, i.e. inside. The carriage was probably carried by 4 people. This great decorative object is a unique addition to your private collection or in a business environment such as a hotel or restaurant.
