Large snow 201 table lamp designed by vico magistretti (in 1973) and manufactured by o-luce as from 1974.
the table lamp features a white marble cylindrical base, black lacquered stem and an opal methacrylate cone shaped shade. The end of the stem is shaped like a ball and contains the two light bulb holders (originally for e27, maximum 60w). The shade rests by gravity, without the use of screws, on the end of the black lacquered metal stem.
this table lamp is part of the snow series, consisting of a pendant, floor lamp and this table lamp. According to archivio vico magistretti: "a synthesis of elegance and simplification". I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
