The lamp was produced by raak (amsterdam), one of the most important dutch lighting manufacturers of the 20th century. Specific space age design.

the shape of the pendant lamp refers to the essence and source of electric light: the light bulb, invented by thomas alva edison in 1879. The lamp is also called maxi light or maxi bulb.

the maxi bulb comes in three sizes (m, l and xl). This is the largest (xl) version. The lamps have gray smoked glass shades and gold-coloured brass fittings.

the lamp is very beautiful as a singular lamp, but also sublime in combination with a few others. We only have a few of these lamps in stock in the same beautiful vintage condition.

the minimalist design is an excellent example of raak’s signature style and has become a vintage classic.
