Charming oil on canvas painting by Ira Yeager (American 1938-2022). The painting features a large white rooster with applied collage pieces. Painted in his classic 19th century country French/Swedish style with a signature on the bottom right and a fictional date of 1830. The painting has the artist gallery studio label verso from his San Francisco, CA gallery. From an estate in Santa Barbara, CA. The painting is bordered by the artist's famous speckled faux frame. Vibrant color with an intentionally aged patina to mimic a 19th century piece.
