The bust of this horse was signed and dated by James Spratt, entitled, “Flaming Mane”, for Austin Sculptures, in 1978. The photos do not do this sculpture justice—the reddish undertones glow through the rich, dark chocolate brown base, while the mane has some crème-colored highlights. Its highly detailed face exudes strength and fierce determination—like me with a box of chocolates! ;)
A very handsome piece, weighing in at 9.7lbs.
