This armchair and footstool made in the 1950s. It's rare to find one with a matching footstool. It has a later shape typical of this period. The upholstery fabric is also a satin that would have been used in a bedroom about that time. Both in a sturdy usable condition We attribute this style to Gugliemo Ulrich for its strange black lacquered pointed legs. The footstool has dark red lacquer and the chair black lacquer, both in the original finish with light signs of paint loss and scratches. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
