The Iconic "Le Bambole" collection by Mario Bellini also features this amazing kingsize foldable bed: "The Bamboletto".
It was designed by Mario Bellini in 1972 and manufactured by B&B Italia in 1976.
It features a tubular steel structure and polyurethane foam.
The bed can be used as a daybed, lounge sofa, dormeuse, and of course as a bed, which it was originally designed for.
The original Alpaca wool upholstery gives the bed a soft and warm feeling.
This upholstery has traces of use, see the pictures.
Originally marked on the underside.
This piece has an attribution mark,
