Probably because it … Read more Toni Zuccheri and Italian designer 1935-2008, designed this style of glass objects for lamps called "sugar tones". Probably because it resembles burnt sugar or perhaps just a reference to his name. He designed for the number of glass manufacturers in between of the century and this was one of his most famous creations in glass, being easily recognisable. This small abatjour, or table or bedside lamp has a wooden decoration and is in perfect condition. The chrome metal is not stained and the glass has no scratches. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
