This set was the no.0 (prototype).
Jan van Opzeeland is a fairly unknown Dutch designer who created this design in the 80s.

He designed only 15 different furniture design pieces which where produced commisioned based, in case of wood in his own studio in Groningen, and for metal furniture in cooperation with score International in Tolbert.
You can see direct influences form Dutch modernist designers.

This set also was only made to order and these 2 chairs and this table are number 0. They belonged to the designer's best friend who had them in his painting studio for 40 years.

A booklet containing all his designs (including this table and chairs) is part of the transaction.

The set is quite comfortable, so not only a lust for the eye.

The material is leather and black lacquered steel.
It is in good condition, with signs of wear.

Light wear consistent with age and use.
The glass is original and has no chips, leather in healthy condition.
