fine quality english chest on chest which we rescued on our travels around sweden.

comprising of 2 parts.  top section with dentil cornice and ornate fretwork on the front and down the canted sides. 2 over 3 drawers.  bottom section with fitted with 3 drawers, the top drawer partially pulling out to form the secretaire writing area.  secretaire provides a fully fitted interior of pigeon holes and drawers either side of a central tabernacle.  drop down drawer front providing the writing area.  all raised on bracket feet.

each drawer fitted with ornate brass handles and oak lined drawers.

much has been done to maintain the original patina of this piece and it's rich colour.  restoration to dowel holes on fall, minor surface marks.  full re-polished by hand and ready for everyday use.
