This vintage settee has been finely crafted … Read more A French style high-back settee designed by US Furniture maker Yale R. Burge. This vintage settee has been finely crafted with French design influences and features a beautiful high-back, upholstered and framed within straight molded wood lines, and having a graceful and soft curve sloping backwards near top. The upholstered seat is flanked within upholstered sides, wooden arms with manchette pads, and terminating into nicely turned wood front posts at knuckles. The skirting is clean and minimally designed. The loveseat is raised on a pair of turned legs at front, and sabered legs at rear. The wood has a mostly neutral/beige finish with hints of sage and areas of wood which show through. This piece has been newly upholstered in a light neutral colored Belgian linen. This French style settee is just shy of four feet in length, making it perfect for a smaller setting, but with a high-back that makes it a statement! See less
