The … Read more Bay Colony Antiques is pleased to offer for sale this fantastic mid 20th century Chippendale antique style mahogany mirror. The mirror has a nice scrolling pattern and a pierced crest. The crest is painted with gold accents and there’s a carved gold border around the mirror. We couldn’t locate a maker's mark but it was probably made by one of the larger antique furniture reproduction companies like Baker, Councill Craftsmen, Henkel Harris, Kittinger, etc.. The mirror has a clean mahogany “antiqued” finish that is meant to replicate a desirable alligatoring effect that is achieved when natural varnishes age. The mirror measures 25 1/2” wide x 47 1/4” tall x 1 1/4” deep with a sight size of 17” wide x 28 1/2” tall. See less
