1950s Perforated Painted Metal & Brass Wall Lamp Attributed to Stilnovo. Executed in painted perforated metal shade with patinated brass arm and backplate. The shade rotates freely left/right and up/down on a ball joint. A sculptural and refined design characteristic of midcentury Italian design at its highest level.
Ref. Literature: "Stilnovo: Apparecchi per L'illminazione" pub. Luminaires-Moderniste, related shade shown on chandelier model p.32. Unmarked.
Accommodates 1x 60W max equivalent US candelabra base (e12) LED bulb (LED only, not included). Professionally rewired for US with new period-style backplate for mounting over US j-box. Not UL listed.
Some age appropriate scuffs, dings, losses and wear as largely shown and noted only for accuracy.
