This beautiful antique Turkish Oushak carpet bears a lovely stretched central medallion and Sub-geometric design paired with a softened palette. The central medallion is filled with decorative floral motifs and is complemented at either end by palmette motifs. The cornices expand upon the floral and palmette theme while inner and outer guards display alternating patterns of clovers, blossoms and leaves. The central border holds a pattern of palmettes joined by sweeping leaves and blossoming vines.
