Founded in 1757, by brothers Carlo Stefano Cinzano and Giovanni Giacomo, Cinzano is a type of vermouth made from aromatic plants from the Italian Alps. By 1776, Cinzano was granted royal appointments by the Duke of Savoy and the Royal Savoy Court. The Cinzano recipe has remained a secret to this day.
