Original hand colored engraving from the mid-19th century newspaper publication Harper’s Weekly. The illustrated paper captured news and events of the time, and this June 15, 1872 published print depicts ‘Philadelphia—Broad Street, In The Vicinity of the Academy of Music, During the Session of the National Republican Convention” — from a sketch by Theo. R. Davis.
The print is in very good condition for age and is ready for framing and display.
