Peter Keil is a German artist that focuses primarily on abstract expressionism. Keil painted with some of the greats including Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso and Andy Warhol, to name a few.
This is a large, unique piece filled with both abstract and realistic faces executed with oil on canvas.
It is signed “P. Keil” in the lower center and a Certificate of Authenticity from the artist is adhered to the verso.
This piece was purchased by the Bowen family as a routine purchase directly from the Keil family, acting on behalf of Peter.
The art is in good condition with wear that is consistent with age. The frame has minor flaws as pictured.
