This retro table lamp is a rare survivor from the 1960s. The base is made of glass with a vintage motif, typical of this period. The pattern on the silk lampshade is also from this time with the abstract flowers and background. The conical shape of the lampshade became fashionable in the 1950s. The lamp holder is made of brass. It will prove a quality piece. The lampshade is starting to show its age, but the base is in perfect condition. A change of lampshade would bring it up to the 21st century.
