Asparagi is a refined majolica dish, designed and crafted in Italy in the late 1970s.
The body was entirely hand-crafted by expert ceramists in the shape of asparagus. The vegetables are beautifully hand-painted in delicate pastel tones and finished with an elegant glossy glaze.
Majolica pieces featuring vegetables and fruits were very popular in Italy during the 1970s, and this dish is a fine example of that cult tradition.
This piece is in perfect condition, with no chips or cracks, and is numbered on the bottom and marked "Made in Italy" (see pic n°8)—a testament to its fine vintage craftsmanship.
