This is an absolutely exquisite antique French inlaid bureau plat side table made in France, dating back to the 1880-1890 period.
It is one of the finest examples we have ever come across, featuring an elegant and stylish design with some of the most fantastic inlaid patterns. The top is profusely inlaid with various woods, complemented by further beautiful inlaid work around the edges and extremely high-quality ormolu mounts. There is a single drawer on the front, while the back is also nicely finished and appears identical, albeit without a drawer.
