This mixed-media wall sculpture was fabricated in the 1980s by an unidentifiable studio artist. Constructed from an integrated blend of glazed earthenware and fused art glass, the piece features an impressed geometric monogram stamp on the reverse unglazed base. The design elements consist of a deep oxblood and pink glazed ceramic body supporting an overlaid configuration of blue-striped and patterned black glass ribbons. Because the exact designer and maker cannot be verified from the monogram mark, this object is attributed as a studio piece created in the style of the 1980s Memphis movement era. Amazing from all angles, can be hung or displayed flat. No cracks, damage or loss to report - please see photos and video. Display ready dimensional sculpture object.
