Peter Keil is a German artist that focuses primarily on abstract expressionism. Keil painted with some of the greats including Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso and Andy Warhol, to name a few. This piece is titled “James Brown” and is a beautiful abstract portrait of the singer. It is signed “P. Keil ‘85” in the lower left corner. A Certificate of Authenticity from the artist is adhered to the verso. The art is in good condition with exception to a minor flaw as pictured. The frame has minor flaws as pictured.
