These exquisite lamps are made entirely of glass, showcasing various traditional Murano glassmaking techniques. The sophisticated glasswork features the "Bullicante" technique, characterized by tiny bubbles delicately distributed within the glass's thickness. The wavy "corolla" border was crafted using the "applicazione a caldo" method, where the decoration is applied with elegance during the glassworking process.
A particularly striking detail is the presence of fine gold accents, embedded within the glass in its molten state. In this case, pulverized gold leaf was incorporated during the glassblowing, creating a mesmerizing "golden dust" effect. These intricate details, while stunning in photographs, are even more captivating in person.
