Peter Keil is a German artist that focuses primarily on abstract expressionism. Keil painted with some of the greats including Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso and Andy Warhol, to name a few. This is a phenomenal painting executed with acrylic on board in a Picasso style manner and framed. It is signed and dated “P. Keil, ‘64” in the lower left corner and a Certificate of Authenticity from the artist is adhered to the verso. This piece was purchased directly from the Keil family, acting on behalf of Peter: The art is in good condition with typical signs of age and wear. The frame has minor stains on the fabric portion, as you can see in the photos.
