This vintage chandelier from Italy features … Read more An Italian smaller-sized, six-light crystal chandelier with iron armature, from the mid 20th century. This vintage chandelier from Italy features a nice variety of shaped crystals and Italian glass beads which adorn the iron armature made up of c-scroll and s-scrolls, that create a beautiful waterfall top of six s-shaped arms, with swags of glass beading and crystals draping between them, each support ruffled metal bobèches at their tips with painted candle sleeves within their center. The bottom is embellished with a classic round glass finial that hangs below the draping crystals. The various scrolls making the armature of the chandelier are enhanced with glass beading all along their structure. This armature is made of gilded iron with lovely patina. This light fixture (which is in great shape!) has been rewired for the US and comes with a complimentary 3-foot chain and canopy painted to match. This Italian crystal chandelier, with its petite proportions, would be an great addition hanging in an entry foyer, hall-way landing, or perhaps a lavish fixture hanging within a bedroom!
