Juju hat or Bamileke headdress originates from West Cameroon and is handmade consisting of dyed chicken feathers, stitched into a raffia basket. It is traditionally worn by royal dancers during ceremonies held by the Chief and symbolises prosperity. Believed to posses the positive nature of birds, it is an object of rare beauty and will create a statement when displayed on any wall.
The natural feathers have color variations. Every item used in making this unique piece is carefully hand picked with dedication and time to create the perfect wall decoration and leave my customers with a smile that only a beautiful home can bring.
It is generally considered by the Bamileke people as a symbol of success and also brings good health to the family
