A ray of light falls on a village of small houses and buildings clustered in front of a church that dominates the settlement but is almost insignificant within the vast landscape. No humans are visible, only their works – the houses, the church, the cultivated fields. The artist shape-shifts the landscape and perspective, alternating rays of brilliant greens and blues to set off earth and sky and using black shadows to signal cliffs and boundaries beyond which lay untouched lands.

This original artwork, at once calming and reflective, is set in a simple gold tone metal frame ready to hang. Painting dimensions without frame = 32 x 37 1/2 inches.
