A glass catchall vide-poche (or ashtray) from the fine and exclusive A L'Ecu de France Restaurant, Jermyn Street, London, England, circa late-20th century. Dish is clear/transparent glass with a red and gold overlay. French fleur de Lis and crown at center with restaurant details around sides. Piece is from what many considered one of the best French restaurants in London of its time. Piece appears to be to have never been used as an ashtray. Dimensions: 4.5" x 4.5".
