Made in hand-knotted cotton, this 5x7 rug is an exciting addition to Modern Classics Collection | Rug & Kilim, with a refreshing, inventive new take on Khotan rug designs in a luxurious new quality.

On the Design:

This rug features a geometric pomegranate pattern, believed to symbolize fertility, a bountiful harvest and other themes in many cultural interpretations (especially in East Turkestani culture). The field features peach pink tones underscoring the patterns, with sage green accents the keen eye will admire which enjoy a particularly pleasing repeat and traditional look that lives beautifully in this play of subtle and light, elegant hues. Connoisseurs may admire this archaic aesthetic work that nods to a respected style known for its beauty, living gorgeously in this comfortable, sophisticated new high-end style for modern projects.
