These photos represent a recently sold 14x20 rug, wherein teal green and blue hues underscore an all over repeat of floral patterns. Though this form represents a more minimalist approach, admirers of the craft and keen eyes will note inspiration from the many provenances known for repeating floral patterns in dense, deftly woven designs as this—a thoughtful and elegant new take on a traditional look. Furthermore, the subtle high-low texture married to the floral patterns makes for an added sense of dimension, and the luxurious wool-and-silk blend creates a more elegant play of the light.
